CURRENT POSITIONS

Postdoctoral Fellows
Desired Skills:
Ph.D. in cell biology, or a relevant field. Previous work focusing on cancer biology, cancer stem cell research, or RNAi is highly desirable. Applicants should have strong cell biology and tissue culture experience. Previous in vivo experience would be considered a plus. Outstanding fresh Ph.D.s are encouraged to apply. The ideal applicant must be highly motivated and dedicated, with good organizational, analytical and communication skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team are essential.
Research Associates – Preclinical Pharmacology
Position Summary:
BBI is seeking a talented Research Associate to join our Preclinical Pharmacology team. The successful candidate will work with small molecule and/or RNAi drugs to understand their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties. Experience with formulation development would be advantageous.

Job Description:
  • Develop bioanalytical methods, and support routine drug analyses in multiple biological matrices for pre-clinical discovery and development programs, as well as perform biopharmaceutical analyses utilizing HPLC and LC/MS/MS methods in biological matrices.
  • Animal handling, dosing and blood/tissue sampling in rodents.
  • May involve the preparation of dosing formulations, and animal husbandry for in vivo studies.
  • Careful documentation of work performed, including the organization and preparation of data for statistical analyses.
  • Weekend work required on occasion.
Requirements:
  • M.Sc./B.Sc. in biological sciences, pharmacology, or a related discipline. B.Sc. candidates should possess 0-2 years relevant experience; M.Sc. candidates should possess 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques and/or formulation is required
  • A solid understanding of pharmacology or oncology is highly desirable for this position.

The successful candidate will have excellent professional references as well as good communication, organization, record-keeping and computer skills. The ability to succeed in a team-oriented environment with a strong dedication to goal delivery, and to work under tight deadlines is required.
Clinical Research Associates
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will interface between the clinical development and regulatory groups as well as the clinical investigation study sites. The CRA will be responsible for clinical site management, and will act as the primary contact/liaison between the company and the investigational study sites in order to ensure the accuracy of the clinical data. The CRA will also assist in the management and processing of all clinical data including its timely collection as well as query resolution.

Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in life sciences, pharmacy, or nursing.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, communication and inter-personal skills.

Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, International (FDA, EMEA) and local regulations would be considered a plus.

Associate Scientists

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology, pharmaceutical science, or a relevant field. The ideal applicant must be highly motivated and dedicated, with good organizational, analytical and communication skills. Strong time management skills as well as the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team are essential.
Research Scientists

Clinical Development Managers
Clinical Development Managers will interface between the clinical development and regulatory groups, and the clinical investigation study sites. Responsibilities will include clinical trial management as well as the facilitation of regulatory filings.

Qualification:
  • M.D.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Prior experience in clinical trial management would be considered a plus
