Desired Skills:
Ph.D. in cell biology or a relevant field. Previous work focusing on cancer biology or cancer stem cell research is desired.
The applicant should have strong cell biology, and tissue culture experience. Previous in vivo experience is a plus. Outstanding fresh Ph.D.s are encouraged to apply as well. The ideal applicant must be highly motivated and dedicated, with good organizational, analytical and communication skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team are essential.
Research Associate - Preclinical Pharmacology
Boston Biomedical, Inc. is a biotechnology company focusing on discovery and development of therapeutics that target cancer stem cells and cancer cell stemness. BBI has a highly-productive and innovative team that has established an extraordinary track record including discovery and development of eight first-in-class targeted cancer drug candidates, five of which are in various stages of clinical testing. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of dedicated scientists and professionals.

Position Summary:
BBI is seeking a talented Research Associate to join our Preclinical Pharmacology team. The successful candidate will be involved in working with small molecule and/or RNAi drugs to understand their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties. Experience with formulation development would be advantageous.

Job Description:
  • Develop bioanalytical methods, and support routine drug analysis in multiple biological matrices for pre-clinical discovery and development programs , and performance of biopharmaceutical analysis utilizing HPLC and LC/MS/MS methods in biological matrices
  • Animal handling, dosing, blood/tissue sampling in rodents.
  • May involve preparation of dosing formulation, and animal husbandry for in vivo studies.
  • Careful documentation of work performed, including organizing and preparing data for statistical analysis.
  • Weekend work required on occasion.

Requirements:
  • MSc/BSc in biological sciences, pharmacology, or related discipline. MSc candidate should possess 0-2 years relevant experience, BSc should possess 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands on experience in analytical techniques and/or formulation is required
  • A solid understanding of pharmacology or oncology is highly desirable for this role.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent professional references as well as good communication, organization, record keeping and computer skills. The ability to succeed in a team oriented environment with a strong dedication to goal delivery and to work in a challenging environment under tight deadlines is required.
Clinical Research Associate
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) interfaces between the clinical development and regulatory groups and the clinical investigation study sites. The CRA will be responsible for clinical site management and will act as a primary contact and liaison between the company and the investigational study sites in order to ensure the accuracy of the clinical data. The CRA will also assist in data management and processing of all clinical data including the timely collection of clinical data and query resolution.

Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree or higher in life sciences, pharmacy, or nursing
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization, communication and inter-personal skills
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, International (FDA, EMEA) and local regulations a plus
